Dare To Be Fruitful
The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.| Matthew 3:10
We are all born with a purpose. Predestined to excel in our unique gifts and talents. What a shame it is when we live mediocre lives with no impact because we are wasting it on wrong things. What a shame it is when our lives do no bare fruit because we are fearful to do what we are called to do. And what a sad story it is when we do not achieve greatness because we were lazy to: study; volunteer; put our hand up and say I'll go first; to complete a form; call that prospect; write that book; apply; audition; upskill ourselves; record that demo; apologize; OR worse share the gospel.
But the danger of being unfruitful is not only that we live below the standard we were meant to live. The bible guarantees DEATH, physical and spiritual, to those who are unfruitful. It would be a shame for the King to pronounce "Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?" (Luke 13:7) to you.
So in 2016, dare to be fruitful. Use what is in your hand, every tool, every experience, and every opportunity to become better, and greater. #GospelPeriod
